I am often blessed with opportunities to talk to people in our city who are working to impact the lives of others.  Some are touching the lives of kids in inner city schools or working among the homeless. Some are fighting human trafficking, while others are wrapping arms of love around the addicted and endangered.  I’ve seen the need for networking among non-profit organizations that touch lives in these ways and ministries that devote their energies to bring a better life to the lost and the least in our city.

For this reason, I’m excited to announce the launch of a new non-profit organization called Life Incorporated.  Life Incorporated will work with other non-profit agencies in Chattanooga that share a common goal to address and improve life realities for people experiencing poverty, homelessness, addiction, abuse, joblessness, and other significant life challenges.

One of the exciting ways Life Incorporated will build partnerships with nonprofit agencies in Chattanooga will be through the acquisition of Cadence Coffee Company.  Cadence will continue to provide the same great coffee and service but will designate all positive cash flow as financial support for charity and non-profit work in our community.

Cadence will partner with RiverChurch to offer a networking hub for the non-profit community by hosting seminars, meetings, training sessions, concerts, and other events in our RiverChurch gathering space also known as The Community Room.

The work ahead of Life Incorporated is vast and hugely exciting.  We already have a number of immediate volunteer opportunities, from administrative assistance, to graphic design, to carpentry, to manual labor, to running errands.
